Get Ready for the 3rd Annual Loose Goose Wine Festival!
June 20th, 2007
It’s hard to believe, but the 2007 edition of the Loose Goose Wine Festival promises to be even more spectacular, more fun, and more remarkable than the first two years.
This year, the advance ticket price is only $40 and even at the gate the price is just $55. The tickets include your admission, seven tasting tickets to sample wine from up to 100 vineyards, the opportunity to see all the great entertainment, shop in one of the luxury item Vendor tents, and to bid on any of the incredible auction items.
We’ll even give you one Golden Ticket that gives you the opportunity to taste some of the best labels that you will not get to taste at any other wine festival.
During the Festival, you can purchase additional tickets for the Food Vendors or buy more wine tasting tickets.
The one question we have answered most often is “Why are there so many vineyards I’ve never heard of?”
And the answer is, “Because you’ve never heard of them!”
That’s not meant to be a flip answer, but is, in fact, the reason we started the Loose Goose. It is our ambition to bring you not just an opportunity to taste the wines you already love, but to introduce you to the vineyards, the vintners, and the wines that are rising stars. In a few years, some of the vineyards represented at the Loose Goose Wine Festival like Leona Valley Winery, Silkwood, and St. Helena Road could be as well known as Coppola, Mondavi, and Wente.
Where better than a wine festival to try new wines? If someone pours you something not to your taste, pour it out and try another. It is a risk free, fun way to find new favorites.
So, visit the tents where the wines you always drink are being poured. Meet the people who fill your senses and give you pleasure. But be sure to taste some things you aren’t familiar with. Listen to the stories the wine makers have to tell. Who knows, you might be tasting the wine of tomorrow’s most important vintner. And in a few years, you can smile and tell your friends you’ve been drinking that wine ever since you went to the Loose Goose Wine Festival.
Cheers!
